IS A P4 800 THAT MUCH BETTER THAN A P4-533?

I am four generations behind and finally bumping into my limits of a 200MMX.

I want to build/buy a P4.

What is the difference in performance between 533mhz and 800mhz front side bus speed?

Is it worth the money? Do I need it?

Is there something newer and greater on the very near horizon?

DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU NEED IT FOR IF YOU ARE USING THE SYSTEM FOR GAMES, OR FOR GRAPHICAL USES, THE 800 WILL ALLOW FOR SMOOTHER TRANSITIONS, AND WILL BE HARDER TO CRASH HOWEVER, OF IT FOR USE AS A WORKSTATION, LET YOUR WALLET DECIDE.
