How to stop a liquid drop noise?

I have a random "liquid drop" noise that will play at random moments throughout the day but more frequently when I'm searching the internet and several times in succession when pages are loading. What is this and how can I get rid of it?

If I am not mistaking you have set up a theme for your desktop to be at something other then standard If you right click anywhere on the desktop and then go to the properties tab and click on it You get a display properties box there is a theme tab on the top then on the theme and find on the drop box and highlight standard and then apply it This should do the trick to your liquid drop noise I hope it helps
