Keyboard has started to malfunction when using shift key. e.g. shift,' gives ", instead of @, and vice versa. I have checked language and region settings but cannot fix. Device manager says keyboard is working correctly. Please can you help?. Many thanks.

You should replace the old keyboard with a new one, since the problem seems to be caused by a bad chip on that particular keyboard If that is the case it may be difficult to repair, therefore buying a new keyboard is the best alternative
