Dead modem?

modem is dead, won't turn on, all connections are fine, what can I do, and is it worth fixing?

If you are dealing with an external modem that does not power-up and all the connections are fine, It may be the power adapter or something inside of the modem itself If one of your other computer peripherals has an adapter with the same setting you can try to connect it and see if it work before you go out and buy a new power supply If this does not work then you may indeed need to purchase a new modem.
