Hi;

I have some files on my C drive that when opened are usually opened in Wordpad, and are just a lot of gibberish.

Many lines of little squares, or diamonds, or other symbols that cannot be read.

What are these, and are they necessary on my drive?

Thank you,

Carl W. Veenstra

I would say that the file that you have in the CD cant be read with Wordpad, when you put yor CD in the drive double click My Computer and then click the CD-ROM the right click the file the click open with the you pick with what you want to open the file
