How do I get rid of a reoccurring pop up message?

When i access a web site, i keep getting the question "Do you want to allow software such as activex controls and plug ins to run?" It keeps popping up everytime i get on a site

When the pop up dialog box appears again, click "NO", then look a selection that says

something like "Do Not Show This Message Again", and click on it and you will see a check

mark.

That should prevent that message from popping up again.
