Problems began with install of HP PhotoPrinter. Error messages pop up when starting up. The top bar says: "Motivedirectory" then, " performed illegal operation, will be shut down down..". . So, I click on the Details button, and the new box says at the top," Hposm. " The box then reads:" motivedirectory caused an invalid page fault in module ARHOOK32.DLL at Ola7:58008a6b". the rest of the box is filed with lines of letters and numbers in random orders. The only three words, at three different lines are, "Registers", "Stack Dump", and "Bytes". Other problems are my screen freezing up when I click on the HP printer Icons, and when I try to play in the newly installed Camedia software. Another odd thing is when ever I start up, my Norton Auto Scan gets disabled from it's auto protect mode . I have yet to get through to HP Help. Asking all my "expert friends" gets me answers like : you need more speed, or memory (probably!) or its a driver problems,etc... I have'nt spend enuf time with my PC , to get myself out of this fix. I humbly thank you in advance for any ideas , directions, or answers!!! Ruth H.
