I recently purchased an HP desktop computer. It has USB ports on the front that are shown as USB 2.0. When I plug in a Lexar JumpDrive it shows up as a warning that a "slow" drive has been plugged in.

It works but I question whether anything that I plugged in would show up as a USB 2 device.

Is there a software switch that has to be thrown or there a setup parameter that needs to be turned on?

Thanks

Nancy Espy

You must check if your machine has installed the driver for those USB ports, if it does not have it, install it.
