Recently my sign -in page for MSN 9 Dial-Up pops up during the boot up sequence after the desk top pops up, with out me clicking on the butterfly (MSN). It also pops up during the shut down seqence . It stays for a few seconds and then the screen goes to "Your computer is safe to shut down"

I went to the tech dept at MSN. All the way up to level three. They had me do everythig imaginable to no avail. They gave up nd told me to call Dell. They said some program on my computer was trying to update itself and sense it did not detect an internet connection it was promting the sign-in screen to pop up, to sign in.

It is a coinsidence that this all happened when they initiated there new home page.

Is there a file somewhere that is making this happen?
