While surfing the Internet, a pop-up ad came up and I hit the x to get rid of it. When I was done with internet, I noticed that the pop-up ad was know a short-cut on my desktop. I went to the shortcut and deleted it to my recycle bin. I then empty my bin. I logged off until the next day. When i logged back in, on my desktop, the shortcut was now back and now there were a few more know on my desktop. I tried the same thing again, ( deleting them to the recycle bin) and that did not work. I also noticed that in my favorites, the links for the pop up ads where know there. I called a friend, and he suggested that i get SpyHunter or Spybot. I ran that and got rid of all the parasites that were there. So once again i deleted everything from everywhere that dealt with the pop up link, and logged out. Well, the next day, they all came back. I NEED HELP. THANKS in advance for all the help.

Sometimes programs will install when you get certain pop-ups and may put shortcuts on the desktop You need to go to control panel and add/remove programs and look to see if there are any programs that you did not install and remove them Also you should run a virus scan on your pc
