I have Windows 98SE and when I run a system check it tells me I have 3 damaged files. I have a program that cleans my IE URL history bar. But it does not cleanup completely. The Software tect said there is a problem in windows. Also I am told that I should reload windows every few months to keep it running good. Well my problem is I do not have a windows 98 CD. What program should I buy a complete Windows98SE program or a upgrade. If I do a complete reinstall, do I have to worry about losing the programs and files that are on my hard drive now?

Thanks

Jerry

If you want to buy the Win98 cd is better that you buy an upgrade or a new operating system, because when you are upgrading your operating system, all the program that you are running in your computer, if they are compatible with the new one, will run with the newest one.
