What is DLL error?

i try to install windows 98, everything is OK untill the step of configure the hardware when appear a massage (run dll erorr) with (close). i restat the computer and it goes into windows , but the massage appears again. the windows starts but anything you do (press start ex.) the same massage appears too. i try to change the RAMs, nothing change. i changed the display card, also nothing change. please, if you have any idea to resolve the broplem i will be very greetful. thnks

When you reinstall your operating system you also need to reinstall the updates and patches They are not on the original operating system software On the Windows desktop, press the start button in the left bottom corner then click the Windows Update at the top of the menu After downloading all the updates and patches for your system you may find the error goes away
