I am having some problems w/ my computer which i think is due to a virus. i've been running virus scans constantly recently but nothing is coming up. there were some at first but those were removed. I've also run spybot and adaware to eliminate any spyware on the computer. I've even checked the registry files for possible changes related to the viruses that Norton's found and deleted as well as those related to the new mm virus.

this is what's happening.

Whenever i restarted or turn on my computer i get an error message saying something along the lines of "error starting program. file C:/windows/system32/system32.exe not found".

I have also been getting emails in my mail box saying something like "email failed to send. administrator detected the mm virus in your email". these are emails which i never sent, and email addresses of people in some of my classes which i have never emailed before". these emails have attachments with them but i don't even attempt to open or d/l them and i delete all these messages immediately.

Today, i also started getting messages saying something like "running low on virtual memory" and something to do w/ the page count or page file or something like that, and it automatically expands the virtual memory. now i've checked the task manager and there is usually very low computer usage when i get these messages as well as normal/low cpu usage history.

what is wrong w/ my computer?

Your computer is having lots of problems maybe you are using too much ram space with all the problems you talked about it sounds like your going to have to reformat your harddrive to fix the problem this will delete the old files and give you new files the virus is attach to the old files so it will be deleted along with the old files.
