Physical memory dumps are usually due to faulty memory or a virus Do you have more than one stick of memory in your system? Try taking one out and using the other and vice versa Memory is also fairly cheap right now so you may also try installing new memory You only need 64 MB for Windows XP to boot up and run without problems It's the other programs you have booting up with Windows that take up more memory Before you go and do that you should update your anti-virus software and run a virus scan on the entire computer Another way to solve this is by re-installing your operating system, whether it be 98,XP or whatever you have Hope this helps.
