How to install a modem to a computer?

I have just installed a used modem to my computer model of the modem is supra express 33.6ipnp and windows installed it , i downloaded the drivers on diskette and loaded them to my other pc as well but i am not able to access my aol internet account also my modem isnt respondiing when running diagnostic test on it when trying to log on to aol it comes up with error message comm port is invalid or busy Please help me on this if u can so that i may access the internet THANKYOU In Advance

If you installed the modem on your first pc The second pc is not going to magically see it It is a physical impossibilly for that to happen You have to get another modem and install it on that computer that does not have the modem Unless it is an external modem which was not stated in the question So if it is an external modem connect the modem to the computer that does not detect it and try to install hardware from control panel, and when it asks for the driver browse for the floppy and let it search for it from there I hope that was helpful Enjoy.
