How to format a drive?

items: p4 2.6 800fsb 512 cache /abit vi7 m.b. /all in wonder radeon 32mb /windows xp

I want to format my hard drive for a clean install,what order should I install these?this is my first time at this and I want to do it right.

Put the XP cd in and choose install XP Choose the clean install option and XP will format for you.
