I have a PC with Windows Me. Every time I open Internet Explorer, I get a message that IE "has encountered a problem and needs to close." The error message I get is Kernel32.Dll. Sometimes I am able to stay online regardless of the message and other times the computer completely freezes if I ignore the message. I tried to reinstall IE and that did not fix the problem. If anyone can give me some suggestions about how to fix this, I would really appreciate it!

Restart your computer and hit " F8 " and select safe mode and see if that work what may happen is that the configuration files corrupted Selecting safe mode may help.

Good luck!
