I have recently intalled Windows 2000 onto one of my computers and i am inable to get it to turn on it tells me the (windows 2000 root)\System32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupted. I have read in many places including this webpage that you need to re-install that file. My question is how do i reinstall that one file..my personal computer runs win 2K if that helps for the answer.

Well first how did install win 2000 on your computer did you use a cd it could have been a corrupted cd try to get a different cd and reinstall with that one sometimes operating systems do not install currectly first try to reinstall 2000 again with the cd u have if that doesnt work see if u can get another one from a friend or family member and try with that cd but be careful which options you choose.
