After upgrading to asrock K7S8X with amd 2000 chip boots up and comes back with message

While initializing device IOS. Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer.

Windows Protection error message occur when your computer attempts to load or unload a virtual device driver (VxD) This error message is a way to let you know that there is a problem with the device driver The following can cause a Windows protection error meaasge:

1 If a real-mode driver and a protected-mode driver are in conflict

2 If the registry is damaged

3 If either the Win.com file or the Command.com file are infected with a virus, or if either of the files are damaged

4 If a protected-mode driver is loaded from the System.ini file and the driver is already initialized

Restart your computer and hit the F8 key and select safemode This will help to restore corrupted files.
