This is the second time I have asked this. I did not get a reply to it the first time.

Certain sites require a user name and password. The screen where these are entered has a check box to remember the information. This has been working for me in the past but now it all of a sudden does not remember the username/password combo so I have to enter the info each time I log-on instead of having it automaticaly filled out.

I run 98SE with IE6.0sp1.

Please give me any hints you have as to what to do to fix this problem.

Thanks.

Your problem has to do with "cookies" Cookies are messages that store information in websites So for instance the cookies store you user name and password so you do not have to type them again To fix this you need to right click your internet explorer icon and go to properties and click on the privacy tab Set the slider to MEDIUM Hit apply and then OK.
