While reassembling my Compaq Presario 2700 after a repair, one of the ground cables of the 15" monitor (left one) broke off. There is no way to repair the ground cable without opening the monitor as the cable broke at the very top.

Will the monitor work correctly with only one ground connected?

Thank you.

Reguardless if the mmonitr works or not you need to go to a service center to get you monitor repaired or replaced There's a reason why there is two groung connectors, having just one may cause problems to other parts of theyour laptop.
