Email attachments

I cannot open attachments in outlook express after down loading updates from Microsoft. i can forward them to my Yahoo and open them so I know that there is somethung there

What I would suggest is to open Outlook Exress and go to the menu select TOOLS, OPTIONS, on the options pop-up window select the SECURITY tab and check to make sure that the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." That should take care of your problem.
