Check your sound card if it is compatible with the new win xp

How should I connect speakers to the CPU? Plugging the blue color coded cable connector (blue) into the blue slot gives me no sound. Before I converted to XP from HP 2000 it worke d well.

For the windows check the device manager for any resource conflict Check if Autoexec.Bat and Config.sys for proper installation of driver files There may be a system variable with a SET command in Autoexec.bat Verify that it has not been accidentally deleted or edited.
