Problems with peer to peer

i was trying speech from pc to pc using msn messenger.I could hear them fine but they could not hear me.My mic was working and so was my speakers.i also have the most recent version.I tried all settings i know and made sure my mic was not on mute.I know this will be a simlpe solution but i am new to this.Thanks

You have the most recent version but do the people u are trying to talk to do maybe you both must have the same version in order to hear each other also its better to just chat with the person by typing because there is no errors that way tell your friends or whoever you are trying to talk to to get the same version as you if that doesnt work then there must be something wrong with their speakers.
