No operating sysrem

My hp pavillon will show the HP blue screen ,then it goes black and in the upper left

corner it says, no operating system found. I received some help from HP, but that fix did not work.( disconnecting cable from hard drive and connecting again) I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

The bootloader is not reconizing your hard drive try the following:When you boot your computer check to see if the hard drive is detected If it do, then your boot.ini file is corrupted or missing This will not allow your computer to bootup.

1 Open your computer and reconnect the data cable and see if that works

2 Go in the BIOS and check to see if the boot sequence is correctly.

3 Use your recovery disk and reapir the corrupted or missing files.
