Invalid system disk.

i have a pretty old laptop for free from a friend but it will not work ever time i turn it on it says invalid system disk please remove system disk then press any key

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check the floppy drive to see if there is any floppy disk inside If there is a floppy disk in the drive take it out and restart your computer, The floppy in the floppy drive will not load the operating system If there is no loppy disk in the drive, then it is not reconizing the operating system You will need to reinstall the operating system.
