What's wrong with my printer?

My printer will work fine for 6-8 jobs and then I'll get an error message that says an error has ocurred, cannon multipass unable to print to LPT2. I have to shut the system down and re-boot in order to get anything to print again. Any idea what might be going on and what would eliminate this error? Thanks

Try using a different printer cable If that doesn't work try re-installing the printer driver Also you may want to make sure the you are suppose to print to LPT2 and not LPT1, if that doesn't work try switch the port to "ECP" port Hope this helps.
