When I try to delete a file off my desktop I get an errror message saying that I can't delete the file because it's being used by another program or user. How can I get around this?

The reason you are getting that error message is that eighter that file is being used by another application or you might not have deleted the whole application Try going to control panel and find the application that you want to delete and click on remove their will be a window that pops up and follow the directions If that is not the case then you might have deleted the folder without going to contol panel and uninstalling it and that might have caused the error that you computer reports to you I know that happens to me all the time when I forget to uninstall from control panel I hope that helps Enjoy!
