This error does not occur when I soft boot, when I turn off machine, or when I download new drivers or upgrades. It only occurs when I must unplug machine to move it. When I try to restart this is the error I get, now twice.

You can boot from the windows 2000 CD (you may have to set your BIOS to boot from CD.) then choose the Repair option When it asks for the emergency repair disk there should be an option to attempt repair without the emergency disk If you still have problems i would just re-install 2000.
