How to stop geting error message?

I got an Window Media Player Error message while trying to play a cd. Message read as follows: cannot play back the audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not respondind. How do I install the audio hardware?

This has to do with your sound card, it may be not working properly I researched this on microsoft's website, Here is the URL: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q236396 They give you solutions on what to do, Hope this helps.
