how can i fix my javascript to function properly?

On my computer, the Javascript is not functioning properly. Pop-up windows, such as in Geocities on Yahoo, do not come up or they show up clear. What is wrong? Please give detailed instructions on what to do.

Well one do you write the code right if you don't see nothing is because your javascript is wrong wriiten.or is it your javasun updated check the settings box tto see Maybe you have a block up application that won't let you show the pop-ups.
