I have had my computer for about 6 weeks. For the past two weeks, when I shut down, a dialog box comes up that says "end program-rundll32.exe" in the message bar. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? I have made sure before shutting down that no programs are running by checking ctrl-alt-del. Thank you

You could run a repair installation of XP insert your XP disk and reboot the computer.

when it asks to boot from cd or hard drive, chose cd then follow the instructions for a repair installation Or it could be a virus, you might want to scan your pc for a virus.
