Starting two weeks ago my laptop computer will consistently display the error message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close ...." after just a few seconds of using Internet Explorer version 6. I have scanned for viruses with a very current version of Mcaffee and have used SpyBot to eliminate some unwanted items. However, the problem is persistent. Any ideas?
