How to remove favorite in IE?

how can i delete files from my favorites?i have tried to send to recycle bin and then emptied the bin,but when i restart my computer they are there again.

Click on the Favorites menu, select Organize Favorites click once on the Favorite you want to delete, click on the Delete button, click Yes, click Close If this does not work then you may need to upgrade your IE: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp
