Why does the laptop not power up?

I have a hardware problem with my laptop and it will not power up. How do I start troubleshooting it?

Could be that you have a low battery or the battery is no good and therefore you need a new battery, try charging the battery and see if that works if it's not that then it i would ship it to the manufacturer your laptop is from If your laptop is under warranty they will take a look at it and see what the problem is.
