What is physical memory dump?

I turned my pc on the other day and all of a sudden i get a blue screen that reads Physical Memory Dump. What is causing this and what do i need to do to fix this problem, thanks in advance.

You got this error message because you may have bad RAM you should open up the pc and check to see if your RAM is seated in the motherboard properly You may want to switch that RAM with another stick of RAM If it is bad you may need to purchase new RAM If it is not the RAM than you should re-install Windows.
