How can I install new updates on my computer?

When I try to do an Windows update,I click on view and install and the progress window comes up,but the download never starts!Or when I try to use a link made in java script,like downloading a game nothing happens!I mean the download never starts.

Do you have any idea what the trouble might be ? Other than this loose nut behind the keyboard. Thanks for your time, [email protected]

I noticed that you're still using windows 98 In order for you to successfully update new window updates, you have to first upgrade your operating system to windows XP Your harddrive and memory may also be full This could be the reason why your computer does not have the capacity to download anything
