WHY NO SOUND?

there is no audio mixer device available and not sure but could be the reason i'm not getting any sound so if you have any idea's could you please help.

Are you sure? If you have a sound card then your sound card driver should provide a mixer with mute and level controls for its particular hardware.

Here's another thing go to your control panel and check out sounds and audio devices look around see if the volume is down, also check the speaker volume.
