Hello,

A Megabyte is a standard way of measuring a file size, example a standard floppy disk can hold 1.44 Megabytes of Data So you the computer user can put as many files as you want on a floppy disk ,so long as the total size of all the files do not add up to more then 1.44 megabytes.

One million bytes, or more precisely 1,048,576 bytes Also known as MB, Mbyte and M-byte

Hopefully this helps.
