How to stopthis box from comming up?

Hello, i am having this problem when i go to internet explorer, as soon as i double click the internet explorer icon a box opens up and says connect to and the list reads America Online. if i click cancel it doesnt let me connect. please help. thanks.

That box pops up because it is looking for a dial up connection to stop this go to My Network Places Then View network connections Now you will see under dial-up an icon and it will say America Online Just right-click it and delete Now it will not ask you to connect to aol when you go on internet explorer.
