How to slow computer from being slow?

Hello there i am expieriencing slowness on my computer. programs take a minute to load and everything is really slow. Someone told me about upgrading the memory but i need to know in detail what i should do. Thanks for your response.

Your pc is running slow it is probably because you are running low on memory You can go to your local computer store tell them what kind of pc you have and they will help you with finding the correct RAM for your pc When installing the RAM make sure you snap it in place or it will not work Before doing that you should un-install any programs that you do not use Another good thing to do is to delete temporary files and cookies If you don't clear them out this can slow up the computer as well To do this go to internet explorer properties and detele temporary internet files and cookies Good luck on upgrading your memory.
