How to set up a printer?

hey webies, lol, I'm a fairly new to computer use. So i have a question for all of you, how would i be able to set up a printer for my computer. It's a printer that i only will be using.

It's for my room. Can someone be kind enough to help me out on this one? I hope so, lol.

Hello, to set-up a printer you would do the following.

1)click start,

2) point to settings,

3) click printers,

4) then double-click add printer

5)after that you click next,(browse for the manufacturer of your printer, which by your profile is cannon.)

6)then you make sure you select "LPT1" and click next

7)Finally you can give your printer a name, after you do that You would select the yes button, to make that printer your default printer

Default printer is the printer that will print anything you choose to print.
