How to stop the monitor from going black?

I used my computer this morning, everything was fine. Later my monitor was black, I tried hooking up another monitor and it also was black. My computer is always on. Does anyone have any idea what could be turning both my monitors black? If anyone reads this I am on a friends computer would you please help if you can asap. Thanks in advance.

Well if you hooked up 2 different monitors to your pc and they both were black, then that means your video card is bad Open up your pc and make sure the video card is in properly If it is you need to get a new video card.
