Can you check if your computer is compatible with the new memory?

I got a Dell 2350 with Windows XP. Not sure if I should upgrade from my current 128 to the 256 or to the 512 memory. What are the pro's and con's with the 256 and 512 upgrade.

Computer usage is mostly web surfing,e-mails,games.

Run DOS Use the command C:\ Chkupgrd

also go the website : dell.com and search for the compatibility.
