Is the netword printer configured correctly?

Why , when the administrator computer(Gateway) uses the networked printer(HP), does it slow the response of the client computer(Dell)? The reverse results in no effect.

Try to unistall the printer and install it again Check if it is enough hard disk space available in the PC Check if you can print succesfully from the remote PC, and also can you print succesfylly the same application from the host PC If the second step works than the problem lies with the data transmission to the remote printer Verify that EMF spooling is enabled Check disk difragmenter to optimize the hard drive Verify that it has enough space in the hard drive that is availble for OS to create temporary print files Also try closing applications that are not currently being used.
