Am trying to network my two computers, one running XP home and the other 2000, I have a cable router inplace and working, but when trying to setup the network I get a message that XP cannot rrun the setup for 2000, not supported, if it was 98, 98 SE, XP it would work. How can I get them connected?

The problem that you are having with your setup is that Windows XP Home is not NETWORKABLE - meaning that you can not use Windows XP in a network it is meant to be a standalone Operating System, that is why it is giving you that error You may want to try Windows XP Professional Edition, Win 2000, Win 98, or Win 98SE which allow you to connect to a network.
