How to upgrade windows media player?

I was wondering how can i upgrade my windows media player. I just got this laptop from a friend who has not used it in a year or so. and i was on a website and wanted to view this movie clip but it said i need the newest windows media player to view it. where can i get this at? thank you. Jim.
