How do I get my critical updates to show?

we haven't had a critical windows update since 02/10/04 --- we have been receiving regular updates for adaware,spybot, and norton liveupdate ---- we have not experienced any problems with the working system at all , and we never get spam or pop-ups. it just seems odd that we haven't had any microsoft windows updates. we have noticed a dramatic increase in norton (symantec) updates in recent weeks . the last windows xp update we downloaded was kb828028---thankyou for your help--- michael ogden- -- tempe

You need to go to the control panel and double click automatic opdates Then check off the keep my computer up to date
