My computer is slowing down

my computer seems to be slowing down to get to things it takes a while and i have dsl not dial up. what can i do??? can you recomend any free trail offers... please contact me a.s.a.p.

First thing you might want to do is clean out your cookies and temp files To do this go to tools in your Internet Explorer From there click on Internet Options, you should see a delete cookies and a delete temp file button after that you might want to run a disk clean up and a disk defragment (located under Programs/Accessories/System Tools) If that still does not work, then start cleaning up your files on your C: drive I ran through that problem before and after I ran Disk Defragmenter it solved my problem.
