I have a friend with an old computer. He tried to upgrade his graphics card, not sure what sort it was but it didn't work so he put his old card back into his machine. Upon restarting the computer the display settings were on the lowest resolution and the lower colour setting (6bit I think it is). He adjusted the properties to put the resolution to 600x800 pixels and upped the colour setting to true 32 bit, accepted the settings and it asked to restrat. Onced restrted the computer booted back up and the settings went back to the lowest ones. I have had a look at the computer and I can't get the settings to stay at 600x800 @ 32bit True colours, it just won't save them. I have looked for an updated driver for his S3 Trio chipset Graphics card but it says that he is already using he best one (Recommended).

What could be the problem??

You corrupted your video card by placing it in the old computer What you need to do is find out from the computer's manufacturer if they still have the video card for your computer and replace it.
